Wedding Receptions
First of all, congratulations on your engagement!
We absolutely love to play for weddings and these now make up the majority of the gigs that we play.

It is an absolute privilege to be chosen as a couple's wedding band
and a ceilidh is the most perfect way to celebrate your big day.

21:30 - buffet break; we will play background music through our laptop, or your own device if you prefer
22:30 - ceilidh recommences
23:30 - Auld Lang Syne to finish off the ceilidh, then DJ through until midnight
00:00 - entertainment finishes

Every wedding is unique; so there is flexibility around these timings.
Instrumental cover
for first dance
We are more than happy to arrange, learn and play your first dance as an instrumental, non-vocal version of your requested song. This can be something quite unique, but if you like the melody and chords behind the song and aren't that fussed about the lyrics, then this would be for you!
Optional Extras
We can provide an additional hour of entertainment (either ceilidh or DJ), either at the beginning of the night (19:00-20:00) or from 00:00-01:00.
Additional hour of hire
Extra fiddle player
Adding another fiddle player offers an extra layer of harmony for our instrumental covers and slower tunes. This is advisable for larger venues or weddings with a large guest list!
